A-Star Digital Downloads

Conducted as a feasibility project, to ascertain technical constraints and costs involved with operating a bespoke music download service. The outcome was a fully functional prototype, which enabled users to search, preview and then purchase MP3 songs. Songs could then be downloaded to the users' computer.
The project required a great deal of attention to security and the protection of intellectual property on the Internet.
