Multiscreen support in SMP 1.6
Posted: 26/09/11
The Open Source Media Framework (OSMF) user group is pleased to be welcoming Catalin (Kimi) Dobre from the OSMF engineering team on Thursday 29th September 2011, to talk about the new features in Strobe Media Playback 1.6.
If you aren't familiar with it, Strobe Media Playback is a pre-built media player (built with OSMF) that you can quickly and easily integrate into your website. Version 1.6 was released on 8th September 2011 and includes StageVideo support, a HTML5 player and JavaScript detection code to determine which player (either Flash or HTML5) is best for your user's device.
In the presentation, Kimi will discuss Support for StageVideo, the enhanced device detection library, new SMP skins for tablet and mobile devices and the new HTML5 video player for non-flash devices.
The session starts at 18:00 London / 13:00 New York / 10:00 Los Angeles. I hope you can make it!
